anw we will be having the chalet at COSTA SANDS PASIR RIS!

on the 3rd we will venture to downtown east or pasir ris park for entertainment

and of cos 4th will be checkout day


please be reminded that playing of XBOX and SOCCER is STRICTLY DISCOURAGED

so people pls bring sumthing like badminton or chapteh or swimming trunks or something to entertain urself.


and of cos, BRING MONEY in case u need it

Hi All,

Just in case the previous few posts have been confusing, I'll be posting a final post for the CNY and the Gala Dinner for founder's day. If there are any updates then will edit this post, if not it will cause more confusion.. -.-

Regarding the Chinese New Year Celebrations, they have been finalised to be on the 22nd of Jan 2009, 4pm-6pm at the high school range! On that day please bring along some new year snacks and stuff and REMEMBER MUST BRING FOUR ORANGES FOR THE CELEBRATIONS. if you have extra oranges to spare please bring too, because according to past experience there will always be people who forget. On that day, the celebrations will be short, and probably just listen to coach and Ms Teo talk abit, plus bonding with everyone in the club. Sec 1s and anyone who can make it for the 2-4 time slot are to go for training as per normal. :D

As for the Gala dinner for Founder's Day, please take note that because quite a number of us are booking tables with our friends, so the club won't be booking any tables. However if you can get enough people its up to you to book a table. :) If you still want to book with club members, just tag on the tagboard and see who wants to go along.

Hi all,

Chinese new year coming soon.. theres gonna be a CNY celebration at the range before CNY for everyone to relax abit amidst the crazy training schedule. Unlike the last few years, this year's celebration doesn't let y'all meet up with the new Sec 1s because their trials end on the 22nd, just before Chinese New Year. So a separate sessions will be held just to let everyone get acquainted at a later date.
Anw right, the CNY celebrations will be set on the tentative date of the 23rd of Jan. For the celebrations, we need everyone to each bring some kinda new year's foodstuff to eat... If you really cannot think of what to bring, try making it yourself. Only buy potato chips as a last resort. :D AND REMEMBER TO BRING ORANGES... MUST BRING IF NOT U GG. The oranges are for both Ms Teo and Coach.
During that day, there's gonna be CNY celebrations in the school itself. so here's the problem. Please read this part and tag your responses!
- CNY celebrations in the school usually end around 10, maybe earlier. However during that time u'd prolly need to wish your teachers a happy CNY so everyone should only be free around 12, after you settle all the stuff. So right, if the celebrations are held after that time, do you guys need to go back to your primary schools too? If yes, then there may not be enough time for celebrating in the range. Another option is to have the celebrations on the 22nd. But if its held on Thurs some people (esp upper sec) may not be able to make it due to other commitments. And by doing so one day of training may also be gone. So what do you guys think? Please tag. Thank you.

Depending on the response, more information will be posted with regards tot the CNY celebrations. In the meantime, TRAIN HARD. Don't slack.

hi guys jus an update.
all of u noe dat DOCTA hon said dat fri would be halfday, so i tried to push elections forward.but den i realised dat sum of the sec4s still haf lesson till 120. so.. elections will be at 2pm instead of 230. coach said everyone must be dere.. or u noe wad he'll do to u=D

Hi all,

You guys should know about the BBQ by now, and probably received an email from EngWay about the BBQ too. But please read through this post carefully, because it contains important info on the location and other matters about the BBQ. Also, if you plan on replying to EngWay's email, please reply to all, or at least me, if not I don't know if you are planning to bring anything like soccer balls or radios. Thanks.

Money:
Total cost of the BBQ is $129.50. Though it MAY change slightly if some new additions need to be bought, or if the prices of some foods are changed. The money stated above is inclusive of the pit, BBQ food and utensils. 0.6kg of marshmallows were ordered so you guys can knock yourselves out burning them. The amount that everyone needs to pay will be decided later, the more people coming, the less you need to pay (however if too many people are coming we may need to order more food). Also, homemade sandwiches are also not yet included into the cost, but they would be less than $20 in total.

Event Date and Time:
The BBQ is set on the 20th of June, Friday. It is arranged to be held after training on that day, which should consist of mainly Coach's post holiday comments for training in the past 4 weeks. Afterwards, everyone would proceed to the BBQ site. The place would be East Coast Park, Area G, Pit 67.

People and Attendance:
It is of course best if everyone would attend, however, this is merely an outing and is not forced upon you to be there. Sec 1s and 2s are high encouraged to attend. JC seniors are also encouraged, but please consider your tests etc.

Schedule:
The end of coach's speech would be seemingly impossible to predict, the whole afternoon would be reserved for games as we wait for people to come. The games would include anything that you all would like to play. Frisbees, soccer etc. Don't worry about who's bringing it the items, the individuals will be contacted. However, if you want to bring something special, please do too. Ryan is also planning some activities at East Coast, so you can join him if you want to. The BBQ itself should start around 5.30pm, give or take maybe half hour. It should continue till 8pm, and by then you can either continue playing or go home.

What to Bring:
Please be sensible and bring extra clothes in case u get pushed into the sea or it just gets burnt from the marshmallows.
Please bring extra money too, as bike rentals are not included in the budget for that day.
Also, if you plan on roller blading, please bring your own Rollerblades or extra socks. :D

Others to Note:
The food provided during the BBQ is not alot, so please eat a good meal before coming, or bring some food along. Sandwiches are provided too as light snacks when you guys are playing games, but I think its gonna be finished too fast.
