Hey guys,



yes, I have noticed too that our club members are scattered into our various own worlds since nationals. In a sense thats a good thing since we've been all out for shooting in the past few months, lets have a mini-break and let things go the way they are now for another month until June, we all need to pursue our interests and stuff yea?



Most importantly, mug hard and be sure to catch up on your studies, we'd expect good results from our shooters since we always claim that shooting is a mental sport :D



But for those who worry that we'll become 40 lone individuals again after a few months of isolation from club outings DO NOT FRET. Here are some updates and events we'll be having soon:



1. Club Challet

We'll still be having our BBQ and challet to celebrate our nationals result in the June holidays. And of course there'll be another in the december holidays as usual :D



2.Club dinner

We've not had our club dinner up until today because we've been having matters every single friday, but dont worry we're surely going to have one. The worst case scenerio will be that we'll combine it with the club chalet, which is not that bad as well.. right? :)



3.Club Outings

We'll be having club outings nearly everyweek in the june holidays, watching movies, playing lan,you name it xD



4.Open House - 16th May

I've looked through the response on the EMB and there are no issues, things will be going as planned and the ExCo will take care of the logistics, namely the powerpoint slides, laptops, posters and stuff. BE SURE to keep 16th of May FREE OF OTHER COMMITMENTS!



5.Club Tee

we've really got to apologise about the club tee issue. Our excutive committee did not foresee several issues that did not allow us to produce the club tee before nationals this year, there are several administrative issues that we have not cleared up yet, eg bypassing the school admin, as many of you should have known by now, all shirts produced by any club or society in our school has to have the approval of the school admin before we can produce them. But it'll be up at least before next term where we'll be having our remaining competitions. Here's another design that I got my friend to help us design, please do give your comments and weasel will work on it.



Another issue that has to be addressed is:

Do you guys want to have one, uniform club tee for the rest of the years?



Advantages:

1. Saves the next and subsequent batches the administrative nightmare.

2. No need for a new design to be produced each and every year.

3. No need for you guys to be purchasing a new tee each year.

4. Ensures that all of us will be wearing the same club tee to every single event

5. Lowers the cost of club tees, if we decide on this we'll purchase in bulk straight away ( around 100, so the cost will be reduced )

6. Ensures that all subsequent batches will be able to get their tees immediately.



Disadvantages:

1. No new club tees each year ( some of you may want to collect 6 different tees eh )

2. Design has to be up to a certain standard to last for years.



I noticed that the band uses the bookshop as a platform to purchase and sell their tees, we can do that too! :D



So please comment on this. such that we can do follow-up actions asap.
