Hi people. So as you all probably know already, this year's nationals had its ups and downs. The two divisions that coach was most confident would get gold didn't... and the two divisions that had the potential but less confidence clinched the gold.

So a list of our achievements this year:
C division air rifle boys GOLD
members: Soo Guo Sheng, Edgar Leung, Peng Chen, Nicholas Ng

A division air rifle girls GOLD
members: Wu Zijin, Tay Shi Ing, Teo Xinxi, Yan Hui

B division air rifle boys SILVER
members: Wan Tianchong, Yang Weichuan, Ryo Yap, Wesley Leong

B division air pistol boys BRONZE
members: Dominic Cheong, Kenneth Lim, Sherman Lim, Teo Wen Song

Sooooooooo..... comparing this to last year's achievements of 2 cdiv golds, 1bdiv silver and 1adiv silver... I would say it's not really much of an improvement, but still VERY GOOD. Because even after our two supposedly "best" teams didn't manage a gold... our juniors and seniors still pulled through with excellent results to uphold the ownage name of HCISC.

As such, all members of the HCI shooting team (club sounds so... chess-ey LOL), including all the cute sec1 little freshman, are to attend the prize-giving ceremony TOMORROW. This is a COMPULSORY event, and if you don't want to come... HEHEHE you shall face the wrath of the reserve weasel bite. Anyway the details are as follows:

Meeting point and time: open air carpark, bus leaves at 2:00pm. Be there by 1:50 to be safe.
Attire: For sec2s and above, wear 2008 club tee. For sec1s,report in your PE shirt with khaki pants or PE shorts k?;)

Venue: SAFRA Yishun
End time of prize presentation: 4:00pm
After 4:00pm: There will be transport provided back to school for everybody, including sec1s. This is because most of us have to transport our equipment and guns back to school, and we need as much help as we can get
Estimated arrival time in school: 4:45pm (bus always late lol)
Estimated end time of everything: 5:30pm (after coach hugs the cdiv and adiv and owns the bdiv inside out)

BE PREPARED TO CHEER YOUR HEARTS OUT!!!

P.S. for sec1s right, if you have something on that clashes, like tuition or something, you can ask to leave straight from Yishun after the ceremony... just inform one of ur Exco members (who you should already know by now) or Coach/Ms Teo. This is not recommended lah because we need help to go back and I think it's good to at least know your seniors have put in alot of effort for the club(:
