Before i start, I have to say that this issue is so important that i am sacrificing time, supposedly spent to study 117 powerpoint slides for my favourite subject, China studies in Chinese, and time to chat with the sweetest theeng on earth. ( highlights the urgency of this issue too, perhaps )
THEREFORE, please set aside 5 minutes to read this post
Today, Dr.Hon or the deputy principal of HCI was walking around the campus to check if everything regulates properly and he was startled to find more than 20 UNUSED pellets DUMPED outside the range, SCATTERED around the rubbish bin.
- another issue to be added under the "everything is Ryo's fault" category.
I am aware of the fact that the rubbish bin clearer dood spilled massive loads of used pellets on the floor outside the range, i'm not talking about that, this incident is probably caused by a champion who constantly brings his pallet box home after training each day
Before i continue, i have to say that my intention ( prompted by coach ) in posting this message is definitely not to find the person responsible for this( accountability as they say in politics), but to prevent such a thing from happening again.
Firstly, this issue reflects badly on the shooting club as a whole. We've produced a card digger and a bus driver punching champion thus far, please dont add to that list of achievements. From this issue, one could see that us, as HCIARC shooters hat we are so proud to call ourselves, do not cherish the priviledges we currently enjoy - free pellets and cards.
Emphasis must be placed on the fact that after the pellets were spilt (hopefully it was an accident), the shooter did not bother to dispose of them, and nobody else bothered to throw them away! I am not exactly sure of when the pellets were spilt, but i am sure that since the principal was able to spot it today, many of you would have spotted it yesterday or before, or in the worst case, witnessed the incident but didnt do anything. WE ARE SMART HWACHONG STUDENTS! if u commit a crime, COVER UP AT LEAST! THROW AWAY THE PELLETS AND COVER UP YOUR CRIME BARDIE!
If any of such incidents happens again in the near future, we might be asked to pay for the pellets and cards that we use in the future.
For your information, our highschool section receives $70,000 dollars from the school each year, a sum that has been constantly, exponentially increasing throughout the years, through producing better and more outstanding results. We are currently, the EP3 that receives the largest amount of money each year. This is something that our seniors have left us through sheer hard work. Schools like NYGH has to have their shooters pay $400 per year for pellets and cards, and in other neighbourhood schools, shooters are even seen as liabilites, and are pushed to the NYT as soon as they qualify, to lighten the burden of the school.
Math time:
We have currently 30 active shooters in the highschool section, our school fees adds up to
($200 X 12months X 30 )$72000 each year. thats just $2000 above the amount of money our club ALONE receives, can u see the significance of that?
The club's discipline has been deteriorating since last year, something must be done soon, and coach will call for a meeting if theres a need to.
Finally, I was prompted to post this message and find out who is responsible, but theres clearly no need to and i'd just say i cant find the person.
I have to repeat that we are not trying to find the person who is responsible for this, but to prevent such an incident from occuring again.
BUT! It'll be best if this cute person could come forward to anyone of us seniors to own up, and probably explain matters as chances are, it was an accident. I mean.. i dont think our shooters would throw pellets on the floor for fun -.-. Of course, no disciplinary actions will be taken etc, we arent NCC or NPCC- public flame :D
Sorry if i was too formal or aggresive in terms of tone, but I think its needed here.
And if i've made grammatical /spelling errors, pardon me, i had to rush this out .
Thanks for your time, and comments at the tagboard please.
Ryo
P.S. We will possibly be moving to Facebook instead of constantly using this blog as facebook allows easier disseminating of info through email notifications etc, we'll probably start next week.
