Hi guys,
I read the last post from Engway and I am thoroughly shocked, when I first looked at it, without refering to other sources. I was thinking wth had happened, and why EngWay became slightly more vulgar than before (even SLIGHTLY more vulgar is enough to make people go 'OMG', okay...) He seemed to say everything else was due to everyone else's faults, and that he already tried his best... LOL... I'm not gonna say he pushing blame, because maybe he is right, maybe he did try hard, but could not.
However, the main point is, after reading that emoooooo post, u ppl would have been totally demoralised, or maybe feeling sadder than before... and when you go read JunHong's blog post, your hopes, dreams and everything else, would have been dashed off even further, you would have been thinking... omgomgomg, what am I gonna do?
Well, if u think carefully, maybe you should just do
Nothing.
Yes, nothing is right, because if you read ew's post, you will be stressed on winning the next award. You want to prove him wrong, you want to set a new record.
BUT, you will have to know how you shoot, you have to know your limits, you have to know whether you can do it or not, it is about beating yourself, not others.
ANyways, comon, if you seriously shoot good, if because of training and hard work. If you worked hard enough, you should just perform your best, and not perform somebody else's best. JunHong said, on his edited post, that there are miracles, sometimes the underdogs win, sometimes pros totally screw up. ANd I totally agree with him.
Have you ever thought about, if hci shooting can shoot all gold, then eveyone will WOW!!!
SUrely u have.
But have you thought about if hci shooting can shoot all at their best? At their best, or even average.
Maybe u didn't.
SO, maybe you need to think about it. If you already performed your best/average during competition, then shouldn't you be happy? You trained hard and you have achieved the results you should be achieveing.
If a miracle happens and you shoot 600?
Then all you can do is to say, 'oh goody'
Everyone wants to have miracles.
But during competition, shooting at your own standard is good enough.
YOUR OUTPUT SHOULD BE THE SAME AS YOUR INPUT.
DON'T EXPECT THE OUTPUT TO BE MORE
AND DON'T BE AFRAID THAT THE OUTPUT WILL BE LESS.
So treat competitions normally, treat it as a normal training session, no, wait, tats toooo impossible... errr, then treat it as a monthly!
Gd Luck to Everyone,
and I seriously hope no more emo posts
that will demoralise everyone further.
Be happy, you can't expect urself to perform outside your own standards.
You can improve your abilty, but you can't exceed urself without hard work.
BB,
GdLuck,
